lyrics
Lyrics by Georgina Wakefield
Essex
Have you ever stopped to imagine
What it feels like to lose your mind?
Instead of receiving compassion
People can be so unkind
Have you ever stopped to consider
What it’s like to be given a label
You lose your friends you lose your job
You struggle each day to stay stable
Have you ever stopped to imagine
What it’s like to lose your own self
Never mind big houses and big cars
Most important of all is your health
Have you ever stopped to consider
What it’s like to be isolated
The pain of all those that suffer
Is seriously under rated
Only you can create sweet comfort for the soul
With acceptance we can begin to heal the heart
Only you can create sweet comfort for the soul
With acceptance we can begin to heal the heart
Have you ever stopped to imagine
What it’s like without love and passion
You see old friends out with their partners
But normality for you is on ration
Just take some time out to imagine
That you struggle to reach every goal
Put yourself in others’ shoes and
Create sweet comfort for the soul
Only you can create sweet comfort for the soul
With acceptance we can begin to heal the heart
Only you can create sweet comfort for the soul
With acceptance we can begin to heal the heart
